beware of the 漫画 virus

i grew up reading 老夫子 and that was the only comic i could understand.
until recently, a 贴心的胖男人 showed me a taiwanese comic, 弯弯, i am now down with the chinese comic flu.

it is highly contagious!

step 2: sieve the flour







step 3: seperate the eggs


step 4: beat the yolks







step 5: beat the whites


step 6: mix the yolks and whites







step 7: pour 1 layer of the batter into the pan


step 8: layer the chicken floss







step 9: smoothen the top and send for baking







step 10: voila!

i think i'd better start saving for rainny days.

family

my family just had a big fight last weekend. it is exactly over our imperfections and im so ashamed of myself for letting go of my emotions. after all, i "took" after my parents who were all so impulsive then.

and it takes years of mellowing down before my mum could be saying this:

"having gone through all the trouble to get to where we are now yet none of you could exert self-control, then there is really nothing more left to say..."

i always think that it is too late for my father to be thanking me whenever ive sent them home nowadays because i grew up in a family where mistakes are magnified 100x. before i could open my mouth and give greetings or even the chance to say thank you, my actions will first have to be corrected. it has always been like that, at least until i have graduated from secondary school.

yes, i sure all these imperfections will be deeply remembered. beautiful or otherwise, im still unsure.

family: father, mother, i love you.
